The Value of Recipes For Your Clients

“I don’t know what to have for breakfast.”

“I get bored of chicken.”

“I’m struggling to get enough protein in.”

“I don’t have much time to cook.”

You might have heard some comments like this from clients and thought, “It’s not that hard… a bit of meat, some veg and a few spices. Done!”

We have to remember some of our clients are used to eating fairly poorly (diets lacking vegetables, essential fats and high quality protein), and we can’t just expect them to adopt our ninja kitchen skills instantly.

But if we want our clients to be successful then nutrition is an area we will want to help them nail.

The figures we always hear are: 60-80% of clients results come from nutrition.

And while people can argue percentages, there's no way that anyone can out train a poor diet. Not most of our clients anyway – clients with little time to train outside of their busy schedules.

Helping clients get their nutrition right is vital, both in the short term to provide results, and also in the long term - because the right approach to nutrition should be sustainable.

Sustainable healthy eating involves not just eating the right macros, but a variety of tastes and textures, and a wide range of vitamins and minerals.

Yet nutrition is often something clients struggle with, for a variety of reasons. For example. making the right food choices, eating the correct quantities of food for their goals, or simply having the confidence, motivation and inspiration to get in the kitchen to cook.

By having a variety of recipes on hand, which already have the calories and macro nutrients calculated, your clients will know exactly what they are eating.

Recipes which contain easy to source ingredients and simple recipe methods, will make life so much easier for your client too.

Here’s a quick summary of benefits of sharing recipes with your PT clients…

Your clients will:

Feel more inspired and motivated to cook
Be more empowered and reassured about their food choices
Enjoy better results from their programme and more confidence
Gain more value from their PT experience

So that you can:

Attract more new business through word of mouth and recommendations
Generate repeat business from successful clients
Find more time to focus on the things that matter to you most
Offer greater value to your clients
Generate an easy passive income

And here’s how some of our PT clients have used their branded recipe books:

- As a high value gift included as part of a PT package
- As a downloadable ebook to sell from a website
- As a printed recipe book to sell to clients e.g. at the end of a talk or seminar or at a bootcamp
- As a free gift to attract sign ups to a bootcamp or training programme

We know that providing good quality recipes for clients is important, that’s why we specialise in helping personal trainers create their own fully branded recipe books and meal plans.
